Stair Lifts

Stair lifts are the lift designed with wheelchair users or other disabled users in mind. They are essentially chairs attached to existing staircases, moving between floors while carrying their passengers. It is important that disabled people live as normal a life as possible and are not restricted by their disability. Safety is of the utmost importance, so as to ensure the wellbeing of those travelling on the lift. It is also possible to customise other aspects of the lift such as chair colour and location of controls. The chair can be folded away when not in use to allow normal access to the staircase.

A stair lift is an important installation to consider to adhere to government legislation and to allow disabled users freedom and to increase their quality of life. But it is in many cases an absolute necessity, such as in a hospital.
